“Anything Goes” set for this weekend

"Anything Goes" set for this weekend

This weekend, want to enjoy some music, magic, and mayhem? If so, come out to support the cast and crew of PV Theatre as they present their spring musical, Anything Goes, with music and lyrics by Cole Porter.

The performances will be taking place from Thursday, March 19th to Saturday, March 21. There are three nighttime performances at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and there is also a Saturday matinee at 1 pm.

The show features several upbeat and well-known songs such as “You’re The Top,” “Blow Gabriel Blow,” and the title number, “Anything Goes.” There are also several numbers that are student-choreographed and include tap dancing.

The show takes place during the 1930s on a beautiful cruise ship sailing from America to London. However, when old friends meet, trouble arises and the comedy begins.

Tickets for students are only $5, and they can be purchased either online or at the door. Visit the PV Theatre website for more information or to order tickets.
