Season Recap: “We had some setbacks during competition season,” Levine said. “There were a lot of injuries and a lot of people got sick – so this was the first year that every single time we competed there was a new routine we had to do because either someone was out or someone got put back in. Yesterday we came in third for the small group grand championship which was great because of how many setbacks we had this year, so we all pushed through and did the best that we could.”

What She Likes Most About Her Sport: The people. “I consider the cheer girls to be my best friends, it’s like a little sorority,” Levine said.

Best Cheerleading Memories: The bus rides to and from competitions and football games.

Proudest Moment While Cheerleading: “Tumbling has been a struggle [for me] with a lot of mental blocks, but this year I was able to pull through with a lot of my tumbling skills.”

How Hard It Is To Learn All The Routines: “It’s really hard but we get by. It’s what we do,” she said.
