Position: Striker
The Lowdown: Spadafino is a highly successful four year varsity player who has been on a tremendous roll during her team’s 3-0 start to the season. She scored three goals during PV’s opening game win over Teaneck, two goals in another win over Old Tappan, and she scored the game winner in a 1-0 victory over Demarest on Tuesday.
Expectations: Spadafino is hopeful that PV can win their league, as well as the county tournament. PV is ranked No. 3 by NorthJersey.com and Spadafino would like for her team to continue to move up the list as the season progresses.

What She Likes Most About Her Sport: “I love that it’s a team sport. I definitely like that, so if you mess up you always have somebody who can pick you up, and you are doing the same for your team. And how your team is kind of like your family and it’s fun doing everything together, like practice, pasta parties, winning together, and celebrating.
Best Sport Memory: When she, along with Kelly Smith and Nicole Franklin, lost their voices from screaming loudly in various accents on the bus home from a game in Cranford.
Best Thing About Pascack Valley: “I love everything here. I love the teachers, the students, I love my friends here. Everyone is so respectful and we are all like one big family. We support each other and it is a really great environment.”

Future Plans: “I’m looking at schools not too far from here, and I want to play in college so I’m still talking to coaches and trying to figure that out. And I want to be a physical therapist.”
