The Lowdown: Schaumberger was a senior guard for the Pascack Valley Boys Basketball Team this past season. The team finished with a 9-15 record.
What He Likes Most About His Sport: “It is a team sport and you need all five guys on the court in the moment to succeed.”
Best Sport Memory: In his first year at PV, his freshman team beat Don Bosco high school.
Funniest Moment: “On Coach Coleman’s wife’s birthday, he forgot to write out the card so he did it after the game.”
Best Thing About PV: Schaumberger appreciates the friendly nature of everyone at Pascack Valley. “Walking through the halls at PV… everyone smiles and says hi,” he said.
Injury History: Schaumberger has dealt with numerous injuries during his high school athletic career that he has had to overcome. He has pulled his hamstring and fractured his skull and suffered a concussion. He also tore his MCL in soccer and had an elbow injury during basketball this past year. Each injury had a different recovery time, ranging from a week to two months.
What Are You Going To Miss About PV Sports: “All the friends I’ve had.”
