PV volleyball star expects big things from her team
Name: Megan Viganola
Sport: Volleyball
Grade: Junior
Position: Libero (Middle of the back line)
The Lowdown: Viganola is a team captain this year and has gotten a lot more playing time this season than in previous seasons. Viganola is one of the team leaders for PV (4-3), which plays its next game on Friday against Ramsey.
Expectations: Viganola expects the team to have a better record this year than last season. She mentioned that the team gets along great and is a very cohesive unit, which is a major reason for the Indians’ sucess thus far.
Coach’s Comment: “Megan works very hard during the season and the off season and is and very dedicated to volleyball. As a junior she is a captain this year because she is a very strong leader on the court. She leads by example in that he is very disciplined and is constantly working to make herself better. She always give 100 percent effort whether it is a game or a practice.” – PV coach Katlyn Lewis
Best Thing About PV: “I love PV. Everyone is like a huge family and everyone gets along with each other. And no one bullies anyone or pushes anyone around so it’s like being brothers and sisters.”

Any Role Models: “My coach for club volleyball, her name is Michelle and she’s the same position as me, and she’s been coaching me for like three years. She is my role model.”
Future Plans: “I’m hoping to go to a good college and play volleyball in college.”
