Boys basketball team seeks to build off of senior leadership
The boys basketball team huddles up in their scrimmage against St. Joes (Mont.) The senior leaders look to will this year’s boys basketball team to success.
Head Coach: Al Coleman (17th year)
Last year’s record: 12-11
Key Returners: Jimmy Shea (Sr.), Conor Higgins (Sr.), Christian Vargas (Sr.)
Key Losses: Ethan Silcher
Strength of the Team: “They really enjoy playing with and for each other, [and] they are fun to be around,” Coach Al Coleman said.
Outlook on the Season: “All I want is my guys to work hard every day,” Coleman said. Coleman said he always asks his players, “’Can you become the best version of yourself?’”.
Coach’s Comment: “I expect the seniors to be leaders,” Coleman said. “They have been in the program for three to four years, and they can lead.”
