Strength of the team: “The strength of the team, as usual, is our chemistry,” Murtaugh said. “Cross country is a grind with all the practices and time spent training. As usual, team unity is great for us.”
Weakness of the team: “We need numbers,” Murtaugh said. “We only have about 40 kids in our program.”
Outlook on the season: “My overall outlook is to just follow through with our training, stay healthy, and be competitive,” Murtaugh said.
Coach’s comment: “The coaches that I am with, Coach Grier and Coach Koch, are always there to lift up the team and add advice to our training,” Murtaugh said. “Collectively the three of us have a great time and help us be successful.”
