Dance Team hosts ‘send off’ to Florida competition

The Pascack Valley Regional Dance Team hosted its farewell performance on Monday, Jan. 28, before leaving for the Dance Team Union Nationals on Thursday, Jan. 31. The event was held at 7:30 p.m. in the new gymnasium and featured performances from the PVRDT and the River Vale Rockers.
Nationals will be held in Kissimmee, Florida, with over 100 teams competing in different categories. This is the team’s third year participating in the competition. The PVRDT is competing in Large Varsity Pom and Team Performance.
The PVRDT has prelims on Saturday, Feb. 2, and if the team advances, finals are on Sunday, Feb. 3.
