Strength of team: “The experience is crucial for us, guys that have experience from last year coming back and being more consistent from last year,” Cusumano said. “We’re a fairly athletic group with pretty good speed, which will help as well.”

Outlook on the season: Cusumano hopes for persistence throughout the season: “just developing continuity [and] being consistent on a week-to-week basis.”

Coaches Comment:  “Take it one week at a time—that’s always the [goal] for any team that can’t look too far ahead,” Cusumano said. “You [have] to learn from the past; last week is last week [win or lose], and you have to learn from it.”
