Strength of the team: “We have great senior leadership,” Jerome said. “Our captains are Ella Saxon and Celina Bussanich. They lead by example, are the hardest workers, and others can really learn and build from them.”
Weakness of the team: “I think we sort of had to fill in key spots from last year’s graduating class, and that can be challenging to figure out,” Jerome said.
Outlook on the season: “I think we’re going to be very successful,” Jerome said. “I think we’re gonna work hard and get better every day. Every time we step on the field, we learn from it, and we grow from it.”
Coach’s comment: “I told them that this year is a year of hope and possibility,” Jerome said. “We step on the field every day knowing that we’re going to get better at every game, knowing that it’s an opportunity to be successful and to be the best team we can possibly be.”
