Highlights from Valley Cup
On Thursday, PV held it’s third Valley Cup of the year before the three-day Easter weekend. Here are some of the best pictures taken from the event.
The main competition at the rally was a “Battle of the Bands”. Each grade was represented by two students who both sang and played instruments.
The seniors took first place, followed by the juniors, sophomores, and freshmen in that order.
For the seniors, Jared Kulberg and Nick Andrisini played the guitar and drums.
Juniors Jaclyn Spellman and Jeremy Gunther performed “House of the Rising Sun” for second place.
In third place, Veronica Carbonell and Stephanie Ju performed “Hello” for the sophomores.
Lastly, freshmen Lisa Agranov and Steffani Aisenman played and sang “Backseat Serenade”.
Separately, senior Meghan Doody showcased her talents with a special Irish tap dance in the spirit of St.Patrick’s day.
