Homecoming festivities set for Friday

Pascack Valley High School will be holding its first ever Homecoming on Friday. This event will take place at the soccer/baseball fields next to the football field from 4:30 to 6 pm. In the event of inclement weather, it will be moved into the school cafeteria.

The evening will start off with a barbecue dinner followed by a varsity football game on the turf field. Admission is $7 for adults and students and $5 for children 10 and under.

Mr. Shawn Buchanan and Ms. Tina Marchiano are planning and organizing this historical evening. According to Buchanan, the event will be held in tailgating style, with the barbecue kicking off prior to the Pascack Valley vs. Passaic Valley game at 6 p.m. A DJ will be provided for entertainment, and the food will be donated by local vendors.

With great food and music planned, homecoming is guaranteed be a fun and memorable evening for both alumni and the current PV community. This is a great opportunity to socialize and meet with old and new friends, and to cheer on the PV Indians.

Marchiano and Buchanan would like to thank local businesses Taylor Rental, Stickey’s, Ray’s, Ronnie’s, Crecco’s, Bella Campania, Big Daddy’s, and Domani for their generous donations.
