Clyde was only with us for a short time, but it was a time that will be remembered by many. His sudden appearance in the soft green grass of the teacher’s parking lot enriched our lives and made the school a brighter, oranger environment. Clyde embodied the wise words “just keep swimming.” His quick wit and decision-making were qualities we all respected, and he was always the one to go to. He never floundered a situation. The best fish to go to for a reel laugh. Not a day went by that his soft, slightly decaying presence didn’t prove itself to our nostrils. We hope that he had a good life, and has peaceful times swimming with the fishes.
