Strength of the team: “Week in and week out, we don’t have any tune up meets or bad competition. Old Tappan, Demarest, as well as Bergenfield consistently have All County, All League, and even sometimes all American competitors, so we don’t really have time where we can take it easy,” Judilla said. “When we compete, we are up against the best in our league; it stinks but it is also awesome.”
Weakness of the team: Coach Judilla mentioned they are “young and inexperienced” but knows they are capable of making great things happen.
“[I want them to] run like you belong rather than be happy to be here,” Judilla said.
Outlook on the season: Coach Judilla is looking forward to being outside and enjoying the nice weather compared to the cold winter. Judilla also mentioned that he is excited for the surprises this year of who shows up and who may catch his eye who has never ran track before.
Coach’s Comment: Judilla mentions he wants the PV community to get out there and support the few opportunities they have as Valley will be hosting two track meets this year which will be on April 1 and April 23.
