The Lowdown: Vasel, a senior guard, scored 19 points in a win Tuesday over Ramapo and 31 points on Saturday in a double overtime win over DePaul Catholic.

Coach’s Comment: “Matt has been phenomenal, first of all he is a tremendous kid. He has got great character traits and he is leading by example. He is a Senior now, and he has been doing it for a couple of years and he has just really been a pleasure to be with.” – Coach Al Coleman

What He Likes Most About His Sport: “Just the organization as a whole. The whole environment playing and having fun as one. That’s the best part.”

Best Sport Memory: “The best memory is definitely the double overtime win against DePaul that happened recently just because we bought in all together and we finally got the double overtime win.”
