Last Wed., the Pascack Valley Chamber Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Argine Safari, participated in the NJSMA sponsored Montclair State University Choral Festival.

There were a total of 10 participating choirs from multiple high schools in New Jersey that were given the opportunity to perform their repertoire on the beautiful stage of the Alexander Kasser Theater. Each choir was adjudicated by esteemed choral conductors: Dr. Heather Buchanan from Montclair University and Dr. Jason Bishop from Drew University.

The PV Chamber Choir was praised for a very rigorous repertoire selection and was also complimented on the quality of their performance. The Chamber Choir received a participation plaque and also a recording from the performance with the adjudicators’ comments.
