Outside press notes our coverage of EdSurge Conference

On Friday, five Smoke Signal staffers visited the EdSurge Tri-State Conference to speak on their student panel and provide coverage of the event.

These five students published four stories about the event and tweeted live throughout the day, which many educators and reporters at the conference took notice to.

EdSurge published a news article on their website detailing our live coverage. The Bergen Record wrote a story about the student panel at the conference, quoting our staff editor Kyle Comito. Many people at the conference also took note and posted about the Smoke Signal on social media.

Pascack Hills’ school newspaper, the Trailblazer, was present at the conference as well. They provided their own live coverage of the event on both their website and on Twitter.
