PV choir holds annual spring concert
Pascack Valley Choir held its spring concert in PV’s auditorium on Thursday night. The B Naturals, Bro Squad, Chamber Choir, and Combined Choir all performed.
The Bro Squad, the all-male a cappella group, performs You’ve Got a Friend in Me by Randy Newman arr. Dan Wessler with sophomore Juan Zapateiro as a soloist.
The B Naturals, the all-female a cappella group, sings Blue Moon by Lorenz Hart and Richard Rodgers arr. Victor Lopez with senior Sarah Boumlouka as a soloist. Instrumentalists Sharanya Devarakonda, Steven Gincley, Jess Grady, Maia Klarin, Audrey Koh, Amorie Lewis, Nathan Prins, Ming-lang Qin, and Lucas Tytla accompany the B Naturals.
The B Naturals perform Come Fly With Me by Sammy Cahn and James Van Heusen. Gabrielle Bryman, Emilia Liguori, and Ally Elek performed as soloists in this song, and Alex De Biasio, Steven Gincley, Bill Moring, and Lucas Tytla accompanied the group.
The Chamber Choir performs Stars I Shall Find by Sarah Teasdale and David C. Dickau, with the cello part written by sophomore Alex De Biasio. Audrey Koh and Alex De Biasio play the cello and the piano, respectively.
The Combined Choir performs Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing by Stevie Wonder arr. R. Emerson. Alex De Biasio, Steven Gincley, Amorie Lewis, Maia Klarin, and Lucas Tytla accompany the choir.
The Combined Choir performs Lacrymosa by W. A. Mozart with Elizabeth Barlow, Alex De Biasio, Audrey Koh, Bill Moring, Daniel Song, and Robyn Song as accompanists.
