PV Choir hosts Halloween Talent Night
The Pascack Valley Choir held its annual Halloween Talent Night on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Eighteen singing, dancing, comedy, and instrumental talents performed for students and faculty.
“It keeps me going, seeing the whole pascack community come together in a fun night of music, entertainment, and sharing talents,” PV choir teacher and Tri-M Music Honor Society Adviser Argine Safari said.
Senior Antonio Fyfe plays “Sonata” in F major by J. Hayden on the piano.
Juniors Delia Stiles and Madeline Campbell sing “Freedom” from “The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown” with Madeleine Miller on the piano.
English teacher Tina Marchiano sings “Bright” by Echosmith with guidance counselor Jennifer Kuo playing guitar and senior Dan Large playing percussion.
Freshman Kareena Shah performs a Classical Indian dance “Shantakaram Vishnu Stuti” by Kathak.
Junior Alisa Berenshtein plays “Estrellita” on the violin by M. Ponce with Alla Finn on the piano.
Seniors Areg Safari and Isabella Tjan sing “Shallow” from “A Star is Born” with junior Tirso Ballesteros on the piano, sophomore Audrey Koh playing the cello, guidance counselor Jennifer Kuo playing the guitar, and junior Dan large playing the drums.
Junior Kyle Towey sings “Rocket Man” by Elton John while playing piano.
Freshman Amelia Jacob dances to “Miroh” by Stray Kids.
Senior Isabella Tjan sings “Gravity” by Sara Bareilles with senior Antonio Fyfe on the piano.
Senior Sophia Lange, junior Anna Schneider, sophomore Abby Lange, and freshman Sam Lagrosa sing “Wings” by Little Mix with PV choir teacher and Tri-M Music Honor Society Adviser Argine Safari on the piano.
Sophomore Audrey Koh plays to “Concerto in E Minor” by Edward Elgar on the cello with sophomore Sharanya Devarakonda on the piano.
Seniors Dan Large and Emily Moriarty sing to “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X.
PV video production teacher Michael Sherman performs a stand up comedy.
The Chamber Choir sings “The Lion Sleep Tonight,” from “Lion King.”
