PV Choir to hold annual Halloween Talent Night
The Halloween Talent Night, hosted by Pascack Valley’s Choir, will be held in the PV auditorium at 7 p.m. on Oct. 30 and consist of singing, dancing, poetry, and comedy by students and faculty. Tickets are $5 purchased in advance and $8 at the door. All proceeds from the event will go to the choir to benefit its performances throughout the year.
“I am very excited to see how amazing all the performers will be,” PV Choir President Sofia Alarcon said. “They have been practicing for over a month now, and every year it seems that our acts become more diverse in terms of types of entertainment each time.”
Songs from many artists will be showcased at the talent night, such as Lil Nas X, Sara Bareilles, Elton John, and Dan + Shay.
“I am really excited to be in it this time, and I am really excited to see what other people do,” PV junior Madeline Campbell said.
A Halloween costume contest will be held during the event and three winners will receive themed baskets. Other basket raffle and 50/50 winners and will be awarded “Pamper Yourself,” “Tutoring Gurus,” “Promposals,” and “Dine-outs” baskets.
“The choir board, the choir members, and their families all contributed greatly to this event,” Alarcon said. “This is one of our biggest events of the year and we want as many people to see and enjoy this as possible. I also hope that everyone is going to love the event and everything we have in store for it.”
