The Pascack Valley Football team will take on Paramus High School for senior night tonight, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. The senior ceremony for both football and cheerleading will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Last week, Valley defeated Bergenfield 24-6. Valley looks to carry that momentum into this week’s game. The Panthers’ defense and special teams played well last week, allowing just six points and having a blocked punt returned for a touchdown.
Pascack Valley has defeated Paramus in four of its last five matchups, including a 42-0 shutout victory last season.
Paramus is on the outside looking in, starting off the season 0-5. The Spartans’ offense has been struggling, tallying only seven points in its last two games. On defense, Paramus has yet to fail to let up under 34 points in a game the entire season.
Pascack Valley looks to continue its success for senior night. As the playoffs near, a win for the 3-2 Panthers could have massive playoff implications.
Tune in, Friday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. for live updates on the @pvsportscenter X account.
