Key newcomers: “We have every starter returning along with newcomers… Sydney Williams (Fr.) and Quinn McCarthy (Fr.),” Velez said.
Strength of the team: “This group of girls has a really high work ethic at all times,” Velez stated. “We have great leadership, a lot of different people who can score, and, even better, an amazing defense and goalie.”
Outlook on the season: “We are playing the strongest schedule in program history, but the girls have a great attitude and really have an opportunity to be the best girls lacrosse team to come through Pascack Valley,” Velez said.
Coach’s comment: “I’m so proud of the girls on this team and how far we have come,” Velez said. “I’m really looking forward to coaching and watching them do great things this season.”
