PV History Club holds first Trivia Night
On Feb. 16, the Pascack Valley History Club hosted its first-ever Trivia Night in the lower cafeteria. Question categories ranged from school subjects to pop culture to sports. PV math teacher Ken DelSanto ran the event by reading questions and answers and calculating the number of points each team had. Numerous teams of three to five students competed, and the Me-beach-i team, comprised of seniors Luca Fiorillo, Rowan Gokhale, Connor Oates, Danny Pellegrin, and Nolan Wasserman, were the champions of the night.
Many students participated in Trivia Night.
DelSanto reads a question.
Students react to the answer, “Other than New York and California, name the other two U.S. states that contain more than one professional hockey team.”
Students react to the answer, “Smith is the most popular last name in five countries in the world. The U.S.A. is one of them. What are the other four?”
DelSanto reads the answer to the final question and announces the winner.
