PV routs Old Tappan to close out week
Indians led by Sheehan, Sodano, DeMartini
The Indians go into their spring break after a big win over the rival Knights of Old Tappan.
The home 9-1 win was PV’s second in as many days, and the Indians improved to 7-2 on the season. Ryan Sheehan pitched a complete game and didn’t give up a run until the top of the seventh inning. Craig Sodano and John DeMartini both drove in two runs to lead the team in RBIs. The other RBIs came from Justin Martin, Ryan Novakowski, Sean Duffy, Jake Williams, and Mike Foti.
PV’s next game is against Ramsey on April 20. The Rams have a 5-4 record.
