Frey nominated for “Heart of a Giant”
Cooper Frey, a senior football player, has been nominated for a prestigious award from the New York Giants
One of Pascack Valley’s own has received a tremendous honor this week. Cooper Frey, a senior who is playing tight end and linebacker for the Indians this year is a nominee this week for the “Heart of a Giant” award. The award is given to someone who has been recognized for commitment, dedication, will, character and teamwork on and off the field. Cooper has been nominated because of his will and his dedication to football and his positive attributes on and off the field have been recognized by his coaches.. Frey and nine other high school football players from the Tri-State Area are hoping to be finalists. The grand prize includes on-field recognition at a Giants game, three-thousand five-hundred dollars for football equipment for the school and a trophy from the Giants.
