Seniors to lead Pascack Valley football in head coach’s first season

Last year’s record: 10-2 (5-0 in SFC – Patriot Blue)

Key Losses: Nicholas Buccola, Shane Burke, Michael Fronzaglia, Ashton Kazinci, Colin Krause, Kevin Regula, Dante Ricciardi, and Vincent Simone

Key Returners: Dante DaCosta (Sr.), Marc Dellaquila (Sr.), Nicholas Lamparillo (Sr.), Adam Shaw (Sr.), Kai Smith (Sr.), and Marley Smith (Sr.)

Strength of the team: “We have a strong senior class back,” Bernier said. “[They’re a] good group of kids.”

Weakness of the team: “There’s nothing that stands out,” Bernier said. “We are a pretty complete team.”

Outlook on the season: “Try to be one game better than last year— that’s what it comes down to,” Bernier said.

In her spare time, Sophia enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Sophia hopes to spend her last year at PV writing many articles for The Valley Echo.
