Baseball team gathers on the mound as Coach Will Lynch talks to the team

Baseball: PV 9, Ridgewood 4

The Pascack Valley baseball team’s bats were very strong today against Ridgewood. The Indians struck first off an RBI single by Matt Novakowski in the first inning and then were dormant until the fourth and fifth innings, where the team scored 8 runs between the two innings. Valley’s bats were very much alive in this game, and the Indians hope to continue that momentum moving forward.

Softball: Ridgewood 6, PV 0

The Valley girls were shut out earlier today by Ridgewood. The Indians’ bats were not working today, as they just couldn’t get hits when they needed them. Freshman Julia Spadafino was in the circle for the Indians. However, there were some positives to take out of this game, as there were great plays made in the field by Erin Flanagan and Izzy Bussanach.

Next game: Monday, April 25 against Old Tappan at Northern Valley Demarest

Boys Lacrosse: PV 13, Paramus Catholic 5

The Valley offense was unstoppable today, scoring 13 goals. The leading scorer for Valley was Conor Kimball with 4 goals, with seniors Jimmy Spillane and Jack Smolen also contributing to the score. Joe Williams, Josh Tillis, and Keith Doherty all put one in the back of the net today as well. Pascack Valley hopes to continue its dominance both offensively and defensively.
