Strength and weakness of the team: “We return all five starters, so our experience and chemistry give us great expectations for the season,” Jasper said. “This is a team that needs a couple of alphas. We need the girls to play fearlessly.” 

Outlook on the season: “My philosophy always is that we’re gonna be better today than we were yesterday and better tomorrow than we are today,” Jasper said. 

Coach’s comment: “The worst thing that anyone can ever have…someone…say to them [is], ‘you have the potential to be really good,’” Jasper said. “Potential is a terrible word, as far as I’m concerned because that means that it’s a goal that you can’t reach…so, I’d rather say that we have great expectations.”
