Third Valley Cup of the 2024-25 school year

Pascack Valley had its third Valley Cup of the 2024-25 school year on Mar. 24, 2025. The four grades competed in a relay, basketball, musical chairs, and pickleball.

During the relay, students had to eat 10 munchkins, do dizzy bat and egg-on-a-spoon, make one shot in Kan Jam, and participate in a mattress diving event.

Gabrielle Rothenberg
Gabrielle Rothenberg, Editor-in-Chief
Gabrielle Rothenberg is a senior who joined the publication her freshman year and became an editor that spring. She has now risen to Editor-in-Chief for her senior year. Gabrielle has always loved writing, whether it be for fun or the Valley Echo. In addition to her position at the paper, she is co-captain of the Debate Team, treasurer of the Senior Class Council, and a member of the Varsity Tennis Team. Outside of school, Gabrielle enjoys skiing and listening to music.
Lia Senande
Lia Senande, Staff Editor
Lia Senande, a sophomore at Pascack Valley, joined the Valley Echo her freshman year as a writer and is now a Staff Editor. She is passionate about reading, writing, and traveling. Lia has been involved in many clubs and school activities such as the PV Lacrosse Team, PV Pals, and the Celebration of Cultures Committee. In her free time, she enjoys reading, binge-watching TV shows and rom-com movies, and spending time with her family and friends. 
Drew Elbogen
Drew Elbogen, Lead Sports Editor
Drew Elbogen is a senior who joined the publication his freshman year and is now a Lead Sports Editor. He has always loved writing, especially in sports, both for fun and for the Valley Echo. In addition to his position at the paper, he is on the Varsity Basketball Team, a counselor for Camp Raspberry, and a member of the Investment Club. Outside of school, Drew enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and volunteering to help the community.   
Joshua Reiser
Joshua Reiser, Sports Editor
Joshua Reiser is a senior who has been part of the Valley Echo since his junior year and is now one of the Sports Editors. Josh has always enjoyed writing for sports, whether it is for a preview of a team for the upcoming season or a recap on an NFL week. Joshua has played soccer since his freshman year. He has also been involved in clubs such as Camp Raspberry and the Investment Club. Joshua hopes to continue to write more articles about sports this year.
Noah Reiser
Noah Reiser, Lead Sports Editor
Noah Reiser is a senior who joined the Valley Echo his sophomore year. He started as a sports writer and is now one of the Lead Sports Editors for this year’s staff. Noah has always been passionate about writing and sports, whether for a class or the Valley Echo. During his time at Pascack Valley, Noah played on the soccer and baseball teams his freshman year and is a current member of the Varsity Basketball Team. He has also been a part of Camp Raspberry, Yearbook, Investment Club, and the National Honors Society. Noah looks to continue his writing and editing production, exploring the various stories that involve Pascack Valley sports.
Trevor Kirkby
Trevor Kirkby, Sports Editor
Trevor Kirkby is a senior who was a part of the Valley Echo his freshman year and is now back as a Sports Editor for his senior year. Trevor has always enjoyed reading and writing sports stories and articles: about high school, college, and professional sports. Trevor is a member of both the Varsity Baseball and Basketball Teams. He is also a member of the Executive Council after previously serving on class council for two years. He hopes to write more articles about sports and overall PV Culture this year. 
Ben Perlman
Ben Perlman, Sports Editor
Ben Perlman is a junior who joined the Valley Echo during his freshman year and is now a Sports Editor for the paper.  Ben is active in many other clubs and activities. He is on the Varsity Soccer Team, a former member of the student council, and an ambassador for the Zack Latteri Foundation. Ben enjoys writing articles for multiple sports through previews, week-in reviews, and athlete of the month features. He hopes to continue to write more stories for the Echo, exploring more about PV life and sports.
