Boys Bowling bested Demarest on Wednesday, 4-3. The match was extremely close as Demarest actually won the pinfall battle by one.

Girls Bowling lost to undefeated Demarest on Wednesday, 7-0.
Hockey @ Tenafly | Valley 5 – Tenafly 1 WIN
Hockey bounced back after a tough loss against Ridgewood in the finals of the Jaskot Memorial Tournament, thanks in part to a hat-trick from Zach Groves and 46 saves from Aidan Rybacki. Joey Dargan and Erik Wrynn also tacked on one goal each in front of the crowd at the Prudential Center.
Wrestling @ Demarest | Valley 48 – Demarest 24 WIN
Wrestling took down Demarest with pins from Dylan Biegel, Antonio Cedeno, Ray Kohan, Alex Falkoff, and Nate Lewis. Additionally, Brayden Morgan, John Allmers, Adan Cedeno, and Ryan Carlson won their respective matches via decision.

Boys Basketball fell to a talented Teaneck in a competitive game on Thursday, 64-56.

Boys Swimming fell to unbeaten Passaic Tech on Thursday, 124-43.
Girls Swimming vs. Passaic Tech | Valley 73 – Passaic Tech 97 LOSS
Girls Swimming lost to Passaic Tech in a close one on Thursday, 97-73.
Girls Basketball vs. Teaneck | Valley 54 – Teaneck 56 LOSS
Girls Basketball was not able to maintain the seven-point lead the team had going into the fourth quarter, as it fell to Teaneck, 54-56. Celina Bussanich led the team in scoring with 17 points, while Lindsay Jennings and Tori Criscuolo put up 14 points and 10 points, respectively.
“We played sensationally against [Teaneck], and we went step-to-step with them right down the line,” Coach Jasper said.

Hockey vs. Ridgewood | Pascack 0 – Ridgewood 3 LOSS
Hockey played Ridgewood for its third time this season and was defeated, 3-0. Aidan Rybacki tallied 39 saves in the team’s loss.

Boys Basketball vs. Passaic | Valley 54 – Passaic 38 WIN
Boys Basketball held Passaic to just 11 points through the first half as Valley cruised to victory on Saturday. The win puts Valley at 6-4 on the season as the team prepares to take on Tenafly on Jan. 10.
Boys Swimming @ River Dell | Valley 75 – River Dell 93 LOSS
Boys Swimming dropped its second in a row to River Dell on Saturday, 75-93. The loss moves the team to 2-3 on the season; the team will take on Lakeland on Jan. 16.

Girls Swimming lost its second in a row to River Dell on Saturday, 75-93. The loss moves the team to 2-3 on the season; there will be some time to regroup before the team’s next meet on Jan. 16, against Lakeland.
Wrestling vs. Hawthorne, St. Mary, Wayne Hills | Valley 42 – Hawthorne 35 WIN | Valley 72 – St. Mary 10 WIN | Valley 31 – Wayne Hills 36 LOSS
Wrestling hosted a quad meet on Saturday, in which Valley went 2-1 with wins over Hawthorne and St. Mary and with a loss to Wayne Hills. The results move the Panthers to 6-3 on the season with the team’s next match scheduled against St. Joes on Jan. 11.

Ramapo College Dance Invitational
The Pascack Dance Team went to Ramapo College to compete in the Ramapo College Dance Invitational. The team took 1st overall in the category of Team Performance. The team also placed 2nd in the Hip Hop category and 3rd for its pom routine. The Pascack Dance Team will compete next weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, the Pascack Dance Team will compete at Montclair, and the team will compete at Wayne Valley on Sunday.
Hockey vs. River Dell | Pascack 4 – River Dell 1 WIN
The Pascack Hockey Team took the ice in its final game of the week. After scoring two in the first period, a goal in each of the remaining two periods allowed the team to capture its second win of the week. After a bounceback win on Sunday, the team will go at it again against Ramsey in the Bergen County Tournament on Monday, Jan 9. This win moves the team to an 8-2 record.
