Girls Swimming finished its season with an 8-0 record after beating Clifton 119-40. The girls had a swimmer come in first place in every event. The team looks to continue its undefeated season in the state tournament.

Boys Basketball fell to the Highwaymen by a score of 78-60.

Boys Basketball vs Tenafly | LOSS 47-41
Boys Basketball lost in a back-and-forth contest, to Tenafly, 47-41. Trevor Kirkby (Jr.) had 11 points and 7 rebounds in the loss, while Devin Merker (Jr.) and Liam Higgins (So.) had 11 each as Valley fell short in overtime. The boys will be back in action on Tuesday at home against Demarest.
Girls Basketball at Tenafly | WIN 57-50
Girls Basketball went on the road and defeated the Tigers 57-50. Raina Gibbs (Fr.) led the team in scoring with 22 points, and Celina Bussanich (Jr.) had 21 points as the two combined for 43 points and 10 three-pointers. The Panthers’ next game is at Demarest on Feb. 6.

Boys Wrestling vs Pascack Hills | WIN 43-31
The Panthers defeated the Broncos, 43-31, in their annual rivalry matchup. Valley erased an 18-0 deficit with the help of 5 pins. Adan Cedeno (So.), Luke Stempkowski (Fr.), Antonio Cedeno (Sr.), Nick Brue (Sr.), and Delvin Oxmann (So.) picked up the pins for Valley.
