Winter Track and Field
The boys and girls track and field teams had a successful meet on Monday. Alia Moreira (Jr.) came in first place in the National Division for shot put. Patrick Kurtz (Sr.) took the double crown winning the 1600 and 3200.
Wednesday Jan. 10
Boys Bowling vs. Mahwah | 7-0 WIN
Boys bowling extended its winning streak to 5 matches with a 7-0 win over Mahwah. The Panthers knocked down a total of 2,070 pins. Joe Devanna (Sr.) led the team with 608 pins and Brett Fischbein was second with 511. The boys look to continue the winning streak on Jan. 17 against Clifton.
Girls Bowling vs. Mahwah | 7-0 LOSS
The girls bowling team fell to Mahwah by a score of 7-0. Sophia Bovino (Sr.) led the team with 512 pins. The girls will return to action on Jan. 17 against Clifton.
Boys Wrestling @ Old Tappan | 48-24 WIN
The Panthers tallied five pins to fuel a 48-24 win. Antonio Cedeno (Sr.), George Hamilton (Jr.), Ennis Feratovic (Sr.), Jayson Fouche (So), and Dylan Biegel (So.) picked up the pins.

Boys Swimming vs. River Dell | 90-80 LOSS
The Boys Swimming team suffered its third loss of the season by a score of 90-80. Brian Yang (Sr.) had two first-place finishes and Sean Bramley (Jr.), Harry Fominykh (Sr.), and Nathan Jeong (So.) each finished with one.
Girls Swimming vs. River Dell | 97-73 WIN
Girls Swimming remained undefeated on the season with a 97-73 win over River Dell. Amanda Bramley (So.), Jessica Malocha (Sr.), and Rianna Kirkorian (Fr.) came in first place twice, and Phoebe Garretson (Fr.) finished with one first place.
Girls Basketball vs. Demarest | 50-44 LOSS
The Girls Basketball team was defeated by a score of 50-44. Ava Burke (Jr.) led the Panthers in scoring with 14 points. Raina Gibbs (Fr.) had 12 points and Celina Bussanich (Jr.) had 10 points.
Boys Basketball @ Demarest | 62-52 WIN
Boys basketball picked up its third win on the season with a 62-52 win over Demarest. Shane Buoye (Sr.) had 17 points, Dante DaCosta (So.) had 15 points, and Devin Merker (Jr.) had 8 points.

The Boys Basketball team defeated Clifton by a score of 46-42. Devin Merker (Jr.) led the way with 17 points. Trevor Kirkby (Jr.) and Liam Higgins (So.) each had 8 points.
Boys Wrestling vs. Northern Highlands | 52-18 WIN
Boys Wrestling defeated Northern Highlands to start a three win day 52-18. Jayson Fouche (So.), Dylan Biegel (So.), Luke Stempkowski (Fr.), Antonio Cedeno (Sr.), and George Hamilton (Jr.) all picked up pins in the first round. Alex Bainbridge (So.) was able to pull off a second round pin in his match.
Boys Wrestling vs. Rutherford | 59-15 WIN
The Panthers picked up their second win of the day with a 59-15 victory over Rutherford. Dylan Biegel (So.), Ennis Feratovic (Sr.), Luke Stempkowski (Fr.), and Alex Bainbridge (So.) picked up pins in the win.
Boys Wrestling vs. Union City | 57-21 WIN
Boys Wrestling finished off its undefeated day with a win over Union City 57-21. Dylan Biegel (So.) was able to get his third pin of the day in his match. Ennis Feratovic (Sr.), Will Tarna (So.), Trevor Gregada (So.), Lukas Van Veen (So.), George Hamilton (Jr.), and Julian Morris (Sr.) won their respective matches by pin.
Boys Swimming vs. Passaic | 91-44 WIN
The Boys Swimming team improved to 3-3 on the season with a 91-44 win over Passaic. Nathan Jeong (So.), Harry Fominykh (Fr.), and Brian Yang (Sr.) came in first place twice in their respective events. The next meet for the boys will come on 1/17 against Lakeland.
Girls Swimming vs. Passaic | 101-38 WIN
The Panthers continued their winning streak to start the season and improved to 6-0 after a 101-38 win. The girls had a swimmer come in first place in every event. They were led the way by Rianna Kirkorian (Fr.) and Phoebe Garretson (Fr.) who each came in first place in two different events. The Panthers will return to action on Jan. 17 against Lakeland.
Sunday Jan. 14
Girls Basketball vs. Fort Lee | 59-12 WIN
The Girls Basketball team defeated Fort Lee in the Zack Latteri Benefit Games by a score of 59-12. Celina Bussanich (Jr.) led the team with 22 points and Raina Gibbs (Fr.) added 13 points.
Boys Basketball vs. Dwight-Englewood | 54-36 WIN
Boys Basketball improved its winning streak to three games defeating Dwight-Englewood in the Zack Latteri Benefit Games 54-36. Devin Merker (Jr.) led the scoring for Valley with 17 points and Trevor Kirkby (Jr.) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the win. The boys look to continue their winning streak on Tuesday Jan. 16 against Old Tappan.
Ice Hockey @ River Dell | 4-0 LOSS
Ice Hockey fell 4-5 after a 4-0 defeat against River Dell. Brendan O’Callaghan (Jr.) had 11 saves in the loss.
