Boys Ice Hockey BCCA Tournament vs Ramsey | Valley 4 – Ramsey 3 WIN
The boys managed to pull out a victory on the ice in the first round of the BCCA tournament as the Groves brothers managed to combine for 3 goals and 3 assists. Aidan Rybacki finished the game with 31 saves compared to the Ramsey goalie, Lukas Cohen, who had 40 saves.

Boys Basketball vs Tenafly | Valley 67 – Tenafly 35 WIN
A commanding win against Tenafly increased Valley’s record to 7-4 after an 0-2 start.
Girls Basketball at Tenafly | Valley 30 – Tenafly 46 LOSS
On Tuesday evening, Rylie Theuerkauf became Tenafly High School’s all-time basketball leading scorer as she led Tenafly with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists in its win over Valley.

Wrestling vs SJR | Valley 12 – SJR 55 LOSS
Valley dropped a match to nationally ranked St. Joes (Mont.) on Wednesday afternoon. Valley notched 3 wins in the loss, including a pin from Antonio Cedeno.

Girls Basketball at Demarest | Valley 41- Demarest 18 WIN
The girls held Demarest to its second least amount of points scored in a game this season as Lindsay Jennings led Valley in scoring with 17 points.

Hockey vs Northern Highlands | Valley 0 – Northern Highlands 4 LOSS
A dominant performance from Highlands propelled the team to a 9-0 record, despite Aidan Rybacki racking up 41 saves.
Wrestling at River Dell | Valley 30 – River Dell 40 LOSS
A roller coaster of a match was closed out by a pin and a decision-win from River Dell. John Allmers, Adan Cedeno, Antonio Cedeno, Ryan Carlson, Ray Kohan, and Nate Lewis won their matches, but the Golden Hawks’ surge was too much for Valley to close out the match.
Wrestling vs Fair Lawn | Valley 56 – Fair Lawn 15 WIN
PV beat Fair Lawn on Friday night. With Fair Lawn forfeiting 4 matches, PV went on to win all but three matches on the night. PV tallied three pins courtesy of George Hamilton, Alex Bainbridge, and Alex Falkoff, respectively.

Hockey vs Paramus Catholic | Valley 3 – Paramus Catholic 3 TIE
Owen Dargan and Jake Kovach finished the game with 2 points each: Dargan had 2 goals, and Kovach had 2 assists. Both teams’ goalies ended the game with 30 saves.
Wrestling at Paramus | Valley 28- Paramus 39 LOSS
A back and forth match was won by Paramus’s lightweights, as Paramus finished the match with weights 106 to 120 winning their matches. For Valley, Antonio Cedeno, Matt Bainbridge, George Hamilton, Ray Kohan, Nate Lewis, and Adan Cedeno won their matches; however, the team fell short of victory. The boys’ record becomes 7-6.

Girls Basketball vs Ramsey (Zack Latteri Benefit Games) | Valley 43 – Ramsey 38 WIN
The girls overturned a deficit at half time to beat Ramsey in the Zack Latteri Benefit Games on Sunday. Senior Madison McCarthy scored 18 points in her Valley debut for the girls basketball team, leading PV to a 7-5 record.
Boys Basketball vs Demarest (Zack Latteri Benefit Games) | Valley 59 – Demarest 57 WIN
The boys improved their record to 8-4 after a thrilling win against Demarest. After Valley’s 13-point halftime was cut by Demarest in the fourth quarter, Shane Buoye hit a 3-pointer with eight seconds left in the game to seal PV’s victory.
