After losing its last four matches, Pascack Valley Girls Tennis opened up the week with a win against Bergenfield. Abby Osso (Fr.) and Alexa Ganz (Sr.) each picked up commanding singles wins.

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL @ WESTWOOD | Loss 2-0
Volleyball couldn’t record a win against Westwood despite PV’s Gianna Siller (So.) leading the match in kills with 10 and Celia Torres (Sr.) leading the match in assists with 24.

GIRLS VARSITY TENNIS @ PASCACK HILLS | Win 4-1
Girls tennis moved to 10-7 after a win to Hills, with all wins ending in two sets.
GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER @ SADDLE RIVER DAY | Win 2-1
Girls soccer upset No. 8 Saddle River in the first round of the Bergen County Tournament. Allie Polyniak (Sr.) scored in the second half to tie the game for No. 9 PV, which was won in penalty kicks.

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL VS NVD | Loss 2-1
Valley was able to push its match against Northern Valley Demarest into a third set, but lost the final set 25-21.
VARSITY FOOTBALL @ RIVER DELL | Loss 14-13
Football lost in a close battle to River Dell. Kai Smith (Sr.) rushed 87 yards and recorded a touchdown in his first game back after injury.
Saturday, October 18
VARSITY VOLLEYBALL @ NVOT | Loss 3-1
After defeating River Dell in the Bergen County Tournament’s first round last week, No. 7 Valley fell short to No. 2 Old Tappan in the quarterfinals. Valley is now 7-9 this season with four games left.

GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER VS RAMSEY | Loss 4-0
Girls soccer was eliminated in the quarterfinal round of the Bergen County Tournament at a neutral site in Mahwah. Ramsey remains 14 games undefeated, while Valley moves to 12-3-1.
