Volleyball snapped its three-game losing streak with a win over Teaneck on senior night. Riley Hirsch (Sr.) and Celia Torres (Sr.) led in kills and assists, respectively.

GIRLS SOCCER VS. NVD | Win 4-0

Girls soccer shut out Demarest thanks to 4 goals by Allie Polyniak (Sr.). Emma Sandt (Sr.), Ciara Dersimonian (Sr.), and Margo Perlman (Sr.) recorded assists on the goals.

BOYS SOCCER @ NVD | Win 1-0

Boys soccer won in Demarest in a low-scoring match. Adrian Cano (Sr.) scored the lone goal, assisted by Hudson Sollecito (Jr.), in the win.

BOYS SOCCER @ TENAFLY | Loss 7-1

Tenafly blew out Valley on Thursday with a seven goal performance. Luca Lepore (So.) was Valley’s lone goalscorer in the loss.

VOLLEYBALL @ DWIGHT MORROW | Win 2-0

Volleyball evened its record to 9-9 with a win against a struggling Dwight Morrow, who scored just 10 points in the entire match. Valley plays its last two games of the season this week: at Bergenfield on Tuesday and at Pascack Hills on Wednesday.

GIRLS SOCCER @ TENAFLY | Win 3-2

Girls soccer defeated Tenafly in a closely contested match led once again by Allie Polyniak (Sr.), who scored a pair of goals. Valley improves to 14-3-1 this season.

Friday, October 24

FOOTBALL @ NVOT | Loss 41-3

Valley football fell to Old Tappan, scoring just 3 points on a Luke Melconian (Jr.) field goal. Old Tappan moves to an undefeated 8-0, while Valley moves to an even 4-4.

Saturday, October 25

BOYS SOCCER @ DWIGHT-ENGLEWOOD | Win 1-0

No. 7 PV earned itself a spot in the final round of the Bergen Invitational Tournament Gold — the consolation bracket from the first round of the Bergen County Tournament — after a win over No. 3 Dwight Englewood. Valley won the game in penalty kicks with five penalty scorers: Adrian Cano (Sr.), Ryan Austein (Sr.), Mateo Grippo (Jr.), Adrian Gutierrez (Sr.), and Lucas Mercado (Sr.). Valley will face off against No. 1 Ramsey this Saturday.
