The Pascack Ice Hockey Team defeated Fair Lawn in its ice hockey season opener with a score of 11-3. Pascack’s Erik Wrynn (So.) led the way with three goals and three assists; Kevin McNamara (Jr.) had two goals and three assists. The Dargan brothers, Joey (So.) and Owen (Fr.), each contributed with a goal and an assist. Aidan Rybacki (Sr.) had 31 saves in goal.

Boys Basketball vs. River Dell / 57-55 LOSS
Pascack Valley Boys Basketball lost its season opener to River Dell, 57-55. PV’s Conor Higgins (Sr.) led the scoring attack with 15 points. Christian Vargas (Sr.) and Jimmy Shea (Sr.) each added 12 points. Michael Criscuolo (Sr.) was a key factor on defense for Valley.

Girls Basketball @ River Dell / 44-30 WIN
In Coach Jasper’s 50th season, Pascack Valley Girls Basketball started off with a win against River Dell, 44-30. Lindsay Jennings (Sr.) began her senior season with 20 points. Tori Criscuolo (Sr.) and Celina Bussanich (So.) each added 8 points to the win. In her varsity debut, Alex Kesselman (Fr.) had 5 points.

Ice Hockey vs. Old Tappan / 9-0 WIN
Pascack Ice Hockey continues its dominance as the team moves to 3-0, with a 9-0 win against NVOT. Pascack’s Zach Groves (Jr.) and Jack Sheehan (Fr.) had three goals each. Austin Groves (Fr.) tacked on four assists as well. In net, Aidan Rybacki (Sr.) had 29 saves in the shutout. Pascack looks to continue its positive start as it takes on Nutley on Tuesday night.

Wrestling @ Bergenfield / 66-3 Win
Pascack Valley Wrestling started off its season beating Bergenfield 66-3. Ryan Carlson (Sr.), Nick Brue (Jr.), and Alex Falkoff (Sr.) all earned pins to contribute to the team’s win.

Wrestling Tournament @ Lakeland / 1st Place
After the win against Bergenfield, the PV Wrestling team took a trip to Lakeland to compete in an early season tournament. Valley finished in 1st place. On the individual side, Aden Cedeno (Fr.), Ray Kohan (Sr.), and Nate Lewis (Sr.) finished in first place in their respective weight classes. Antonio Cedeno (Jr.) finished in second place and George Hamilton (So.) finished in third place in their weight classes as well.

Girls Basketball vs. Northern Highlands / 66-57 OT WIN
Pascack Valley Girls Basketball rose to 2-0 as the team defeated Northern Highlands, 66-57 in overtime. Lindsay Jennings (Sr.) scored 29 points. Celina Bussanich (So.) tallied 22 points, 15 of which came from 3-pointers. Ava Burke (So.) added 11 points, and Tori Criscuolo (Sr.) had 4 points. Pascack Valley looks to go 3-0, as the team takes on Holy Angels on Tuesday.

Boys Basketball @ Northern Highlands / 67-65 LOSS
Pascack Valley Boys Basketball fell to 0-2 on the season, as Northern Highlands connected on a game winning shot with two seconds remaining. Jimmy Shea (Sr.) finished with 20 points, shooting 10/15 from the field. Shea also finished with 13 rebounds, 8 of which were offensive. Devin Merker (So.) scored 18 points for Valley. Pascack Valley Boys Basketball plays Bergen Tech on Tuesday Night.

Pascack Girls Swimming took its first loss of the season, losing 112-58 to Northern Highlands. The team is now 1-1.

Boys Swimming @ Northern Highlands / 93-69 LOSS
Pascack Boys Swimming took its first loss of the season as the team fell to Northern Highlands, 93-69. The team is now 1-1.

Both team take on Clifton on Tuesday.
