5/8 Monday
Softball vs Hudson Catholic / WIN 15-5
The softball team started off the week strong with a home win against Hudson Catholic. Pitcher Alexandra Siller (Fr.) allowed 8 hits and struck out 4, while Kiara Selby (Sr.) notched a game-high 3 hits, including a double. Alexis Ban (Sr.), Jordyn Ban (So.), and Siller all had doubles as well.
Girls Lacrosse vs Paramus / WIN 17-0
10 players scored goals at home on Monday, as the girls lacrosse team won over Paramus, 17-0. Courtney Pelisson (So.) led in scoring with five points; Ella Saxon (So.) and Jenna Reinhart (Fr.) each had 4 points. Senior goalies Morgan Jones and Kyra Lin combined for the shutout win.
Boys Lacrosse vs Paramus / WIN 14-7
The boys lacrosse team traveled to Paramus and secured the win on the road. Donnie Duffus (So.) led in scoring with 4 goals, and Ben Torres (Jr.) had 3 goals and 1 assist on the day. Owen Deady (Jr.) went 59% on faceoffs, and senior goalie Kevin Wirchansky had 10 saves.

Baseball vs Northern Highlands / WIN 11-2
The baseball team started its week on the road against Northern Highlands, winning 11-2. Pitchers Brendan Gaskin (Fr.) and Danny Schwartz (Sr.) combined for the two-hitter. Charlie Saul got on base five times, including notching an RBI single and a double; Evan Biener (So.) had an RBI single and an RBI double.
Boys Tennis vs Tenafly / LOSS 5-0
The Pascack Valley Boys Tennis Team was unable to win any of its matches against a 16-1 Tenafly team on Tuesday.
5/10 Wednesday
Baseball vs Midland Park, Bergen County Tournament, First Round / WIN 13-3
The baseball team won in the first round of the Bergen County Tournament: a 13-3 victory against Midland Park. Andrew Wallace (Jr.) pitched the full game, allowing only seven hits and three runs. Charlie Saul led the way with four RBIs, and Evan Biener (Jr.) had three RBIs on two doubles.
Boys Tennis vs Teaneck / WIN 5-0
The boys tennis team won all of its matches on Wednesday when it took on Teaneck at home. All seniors—singles Ethan Ganz, Alex Rothenberg, and Cody Lake, and doubles Brendon Kim/Noah Silver and Jack Benson/Rowan Gokhale—competed and won their respective matches.
Softball vs Demarest / WIN 21-11
The softball team took care of Demarest on Wednesday in a high-scoring bout. Sisters Alexis (Sr.) and Jordyn (So.) Ban led the way with 5 and 4 RBIs, respectively. Anya Dembowski (Jr.) had a triple, while Kiara Selby (Sr.) had a double.
Boys Lacrosse vs West Milford / 12-5
The boys lacrosse team got revenge against West Milford—who knocked the boys out of the state playoffs last year—with a 12-5 win. Donnie Duffus (So.) notched 8 points, dishing out 7 assists and scoring 1 goal. Joe Dargan (So.), Joe Massaro (So.), and Nate Lewis (Sr.) all had hat tricks, and Kevin Wirchansky (Sr.) had 10 saves in the win.
Girls Lacrosse vs Demarest / WIN 18-1
The Pascack Valley Girls Lacrosse Team continued its winning ways against Demarest. Bella Alepa (Sr.) and Courtney Pelisson (So.) had 6 points each, while Jayden Rosenthal (Sr.) had a 5 point performance.

Boys Tennis vs Mahwah / LOSS 3-2
The boys tennis team fell to Mahwah on Thursday, by a score of 3-2. Alex Rothenberg (Sr.) was able to win his matchup, and seniors Noah Silver and Rowan Gokhale were able to win their doubles match.
Baseball vs Hackensack / WIN 14-3
A solid pitching display from a collection of Valley pitchers gave PV the win on Thursday. At bat, Brayden Grier (Sr.), Ryan Mancinelli (Sr.) and James Narlinger (So.) all had 3 RBIs in the win.

Boys Tennis vs Demarest / LOSS 4-1
Boys tennis took on Demarest on Friday afternoon, falling by a score of 4-1. The team has a record of 7-9 heading into the final week of the regular season.

Girls Lacrosse vs Northern Valley Old Tappan / WIN 12-3
The girls lacrosse team notched its third straight win against Old Tappan, defeating the Golden Knights 12-3. Courtney Pelisson (So.) had 5 goals, and Mia Boretti (Fr.) had 3 points. Pelisson also gained her 100th draw control in her career on Friday afternoon. The girls have a 11–2 record on the season.
Boys Lacrosse vs Newton / WIN 9-7
The boys lacrosse team made the long haul to Newton worth it with a key 9-7 win, giving the team a winning record of 8-7. Charlie Haller (Jr.) had 5 goals, while Nate Lewis (Sr.) had 2. Kevin Wichansky (Sr.) had 11 saves in the decisive win for the boys.

Baseball vs Ridgewood Bergen County Tournament Round of 16 / WIN 5-1
The baseball team was able to advance to the next round of the Bergen County Tournament with a 5-1 over Ridgewood. J.T. Deirso (So.) went the distance on the mound, giving up 7 hits and only 1 run. Zach Novakowski (Sr.) went big fly in the third inning, giving Valley a 2-1 lead. A three-run 7th inning from Valley included RBIs from Ryan Mancinelli (Sr.), Evan Biener (Jr.), and Trevor Kirkby (So.).
Spring Track & Field: Bergen County Group Championship
The Pascack Valley Spring Track Team competed in the Bergen County Group Championship at Old Tappan on Saturday. Patrick Kurtz (Jr.) took second place in the Boys 800m, also taking fourth place in Boys 1600m. Michael Pizzella (Sr.) took third place in the Boys 1600m and fourth in the Boys 3200m.
