Winter track led by strong group of seniors
Coach: Anthony Judilla
Last year’s placement: 5th place in league
Key Returners: Andrew Martinez (Sr.), Eddie Mercurio (Sr.), Danny Demilia (Jr.), Michael Supple (Jr.), Beibhinn O’Reilly (Sr.), Katie Mullaney (Sr.), Sam Conjour (Sr.), Kaitlin Damascus (Sr.), Jessica Forcellati (Sr.)
Key Losses: Kyle Chiu, Kate Henderson
Key Newcomers: Hailey Jacobson (So.), Shannon Connolly (So.), Zana Dukaj (So.), Jess Ricco (So.), John Supple (Jr.)
Strength of team: “This year I have a large group of seniors that I trust and rely on, and I’m hoping they can lead by example,” Judilla said. “With this group, I’m comforted [by] the fact that all of them are committed and they’re going to help me lead the team.”
Weakness of team: The practice facilities potentially malfunctioning, poor weather and fewer coaches than in the spring may have a negative impact on the team.
Outlook: Judilla’s main goal for the team is that all of his athletes improve throughout the season.
“I’m always about improvement, whether the team is good or bad,” Judilla said. “I want to see where we start on the second or third week and where we end on the final week.”
