Strength of team: “[Our strength is] our potential,” Phillips said. “We have a good group of players who want to work hard, and there is a ton of young, untapped talent on our roster.”

Weakness of team: “[Our biggest weakness is] probably our lack of experience,” Phillips said. “We’re likely going to suffer some losses before we learn how to manage our sets and games.”

Outlook on the season: “We have a lot of excitement around our program,” Philips said. “Lots of [underclassmen are] showing interest and commitment to the sport. It [would] be nice to be competitive with some of the top teams in our division like Demarest, Tenafly, and Old Tappan.”
