The Lowdown: Smith is averaging 20.1 points per game over her last seven, has hit 29 three pointers in that span, and has recorded 61.7% of her points from behind the arc in those games as well. She also contributed 18 points and four threes in PV’s semifinal win over Ramapo.

Coach’s Comment: “The great thing about Brianna is first off, that she’s a bundle of energy when she plays and she has such joy. She loves basketball and is such a happy-go-lucky kid and I think that joy is seen in the way she plays the game. Her shooting is phenomenal. You have to be unconscious and just say ‘I’m shooting’ and I give her free reign. I tell her all the time that the worst shot you’re going to take is the one you don’t take. You’re open you, shoot the ball. But the thing I love about here the most is just the joy with which she plays.”-coach Jeff Jasper
