More media outlets report on recent PV happenings

Over the past week, multiple media outlets have been continuing coverage on the events that have come about from the Human Rights League’s open letter to the Pascack Valley community.

While many stories about the “white supremacy” problem at PV have been published over at NorthJersey.com, a new one was released on the site on Monday from writers Andrew Wyrich, Monsy Alvarado and Abbott Koloff. The article takes note of how students have “hung banners,” “painted a mural,” and “attended a documentary about black culture.” Specifically, it says that over 100 students went to the screening of the documentary.

On the CBS New York 5:00 pm news, the issue was one of the top stories. In fact, PV students Zak Terzini, Ana Beyer, and Jennifer Schneider, and superintendent Erik Gundersen, all gave interviews about the swastikas found at the school. The video and article are both available on the CBS website.

Other local news sites such as News 12 New Jersey and FIOS1 News – New Jersey reported on the issue as well.
