Pascack Pi-oneers host movie fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation
The Pascack Pi-oneers robotics team hosts a movie night to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The Pascack Pi-oneers FIRST Robotics Team 1676, in partnership with the Westwood Movie Theatre, is hosting the second annual FIRST Break: Sunday at the Movies event to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey.
This Sunday, there will be a showing of two movies: Deadpool (R) at 3 p.m. and Kung Fu Panda 3 (PG) at 3:15 p.m. Admission is $12 for either movie and can be purchased online here the day of the event at the theatre, 182 Center Ave, Westwood, New Jersey.
As of Jan. 9, the FIRST Robotics Competition kicked off to “Build Season”, continuing for the next six weeks. The last day of Build Season is tomorrow, and the first day of competition season is March 2. This Sunday is the “FIRST break” teams have to take a day off before they begin.
