Introducing….

The Smoke Signal Film Festival!

On June 7, the first annual Smoke Signal Film Festival will be held in the Auditorium at PV. It will consist of student-produced films that have been submitted and accepted and a brief Q & A session with the filmmakers following the showing of their films.

The main event of the night will be the premiere of Zak Terzini, Justin Lewbel, and Sean Keohane’s debut film  “Reclamation,” filmed for their senior project.

“Our movie is post-apocolyptic America where the new world has settled down,” Lewbel said. “Carver, played by Zak, has a sister named Hope who is kidnapped by a mad man named Isaac which is played by Sean and his gang. Carver tries to piece together any type of clues he can find to locate Hope. Carver meets a man named Jonah who is played by myself. Along the way, Jonah reveals that he knows where Isaac is and can take Carver to where he is. Carver and Jonah then begin their journey to Isaac and his group.”

Along with their film, submissions are open for short films to be played at the festival and contact information is above. Proceeds will benefit The Smoke Signal.
