Girls Soccer Game Home vs. Bergenfield:

Valley defeated Bergenfield off of 2 goals from Tara Stewart and one goal from Amanda Polyniak.

Freshman Steven Gifford scored his first goal for Varsity in a hard fought game.

Volleyball Match vs. Northern Valley Demarest, First Set: 25-15 NVD, Second Set: 25-21 NVD

The Volleyball team had a tough loss to Northern Valley Demarest, however Kaleigh Higgins did have a key play in the game.

Cross Country Meet

Boys Varsity:

Connor Oates: 13th place

Patrick Kurtz: 14th place

Team came in 4th at the event out of 5 teams.

Girls Varsity:

Ellie Buchanan: 11th place

Isabella Alepa: 17th place

Team came in 4th out of 4 teams at the event.

Girls Tennis Match Home vs. Tenafly

The Girls Tennis team lost all 5 of their matches on Wednesday.

Thursday-9/30

Girls Tennis State Tournament Match Home vs. Sparta

Valley: 3

Sparta: 2

This is the first time in Valley’s tennis history that they have beaten Sparta. 1st Singles Alexis Ban, 2nd Singles Jordyn Ban, and 3rd Singles Sharanya Demarakonda all won their matches.

Boys Soccer Game Home vs. Northern Valley Demarest

NVD: 0

The Boys Soccer team had a very long, and tough tie against Northern Valley Demarest that went into double overtime.

Volleyball Match Home vs. Pascack Hills

1st Set: 25-17 Valley

2nd Set: 25-17

The Volleyball team won in 2 sets against Pascack Hills with Sabrina Hirsch having 6 spikes and helping the team to victory.

Football Game Away vs. Riverdell

Valley: 28

The Pascack Valley Football team had a tough loss to Riverdell in a very offensive oriented game. Although Valley lost, Messina did rush for 3 touchdowns and 181 yards.

Girls Soccer County Tournament Game vs. Saddle River Day School

Valley: 4

Saddle River Day: 0

Pascack Valley defeated Saddle River Day School 4-0 on Saturday. Amanda Polyniak had 1 goal, Alexandra Spadafino had 1 goal along with Sarah Urrea and Erin Vollers who each had 1 goal.

Patrick Kurtz: 16th place

Jay Ramirez: 19th place

Team came in 6th out of 9 teams at the event.

Girls Varsity:

Hailey Jacobson: 41st place

Ai Lin Doody: 54th place

Team came in 9th place out of 9 teams.
