Leblon Steakhouse, which opened in May, has had some raving reviews. Needless to say, I had to check it out.

At the entrance, you will notice that the restaurant has been completely remodeled since its time as the Golden Dynasty. There are expansive mirrors and a black theme to the overall ambiance.

Leblon is a Brazilian Steakhouse that includes a full rodizio (an all-you-can-eat service in Brazilian restaurants) for $49, which includes the salad bar, steaks, lamb, cheese with honey, ribs, and pineapples.

Now I know what you may be thinking…pineapples? Yes, pineapples. And these are not just plain pineapples; these are pineapples coated in cinnamon and lightly heated.

This flavor is unbeatable, and I plan on returning to this steakhouse just for the pineapples.

These pineapples make Leblon stand out from other steakhouses because pineapples with cinnamon aren’t served at all Brazilian steakhouses even though this fruit is popular in Brazilian cuisine.

Since Leblon is a steakhouse, I’d say that the most important aspect of the restaurant is the meat.

In terms of the meat, I have no complaints. The steak was cooked just right, medium rare. I recommend the picanha cut of steak, which is extremely tender and delicious.

To get the salad bar by itself it is $39 and has so many wonderful options: fish including salmon and shrimp, chicken, breads, cheeses, and fresh fruits. Mac and cheese and chicken fingers are also included in the salad bar for picky eaters and young children.

Overall, I would give this restaurant a 10/10. The food was amazing, and I hope to go back soon.
