Sabrina Arcilla and her team celebrate after winning a key point. The team looks to have yet another successful season.

Coach: Andrew Lewis

Last year’s record: 15-8

Key Returners: Taylor Grady (Sr.), Sabrina Arcilla (Sr.), Noelle Solimano (Sr.), Grace Misha (Sr.), Tegan Feeley (Jr.)

Key Losses (specifically last year’s players who graduated): Nicole Buckley and Kaleigh Higgins

Strength of the team: “We are well rounded with no major weaknesses. We can play all aspects of the game,” Lewis said. “It’s a matter of execution and eliminating enforced errors, [like] hitting errors [and] service errors. It’s the little things that will lose us games.”

Outlook on the season: “We think that we can compete with anybody. We’ve been working hard and believe that we can beat any team in the county,” Lewis said.

Coach’s Comment: “When I stepped down five years ago from the [varsity coach] position for [Coach Rivera], [who] had been a former player for me, it was the right time in her life to become the coach, and she did a fantastic job for five years,” Coach Lewis said. “With this opportunity to come back—I couldn’t say no. It is a great group of players.”
