Monday, May 11

Baseball at Bergenfield | Win, 6-1

Pascack Valley baseball gets a huge win against Bergenfield. This win was able to snap Valley’s two-game losing streak and get them back on track.

Softball vs Teaneck | Win, 15-1

Valley stays undefeated in the Big North National conference. Caliana Dembowski (Sr.) had another dominant game, tallying two hits and 2 RBIs.

Boys Tennis vs Bergenfield | Win, 5-0

Pascack Valley Boys Tennis completed the season sweep over Bergenfield with a dominant 5-0 win. In the victory, Valley did not drop a single set.

Tuesday, May 12

Boys Tennis vs Mahwah | Win, 3-2

Boys tennis gets a much-needed win going into their state tournament. Second doubles, Luke Melconian (Jr.) and Wojciech Piotrowski (Sr.) came through in a 10-point tiebreak to seal the victory for Valley.

Softball vs Paramus | Win, 6-1

Star pitcher Lexi Siller (Sr.) pitches a near-flawless seven-inning game. In the win, Gianna Selby (Jr.) had 1 RBI on 3 hits.

Wednesday, May 13

Girls Lacrosse vs Verona | Win, 6-4

After a dominant first quarter from Verona, Valley was able to hold them to just 1 goal for the rest of the game. Jenna Reinhart (Sr.) led the team with 4 goals in the close Valley win.

Baseball vs Bergenfield | Win, 5-3

Pascack Valley completes the series sweep of Bergenfield. With the game tied 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Max Stalb (Jr.) hit a two-run home run to walk off the game. Valley moves to 13-7 on the season with the win.

Thursday, May 14

Boys Tennis vs Cresskill | Win, 4-1

The Boys Tennis team beat Cresskill 4-1 on Thursday. Suren Makichyan (So.) led the way as they improved their record to 12-8 this season.

Friday, May 15

Baseball vs Ramsey | Win, 6-2

PV Baseball beat Ramsey on Friday for Senior Night. Colin McMorrow (Sr.) led the offense with two hits and two runs.

Softball vs Bergenfield | Win, 10-0

Valley Softball won their Senior Night game against Bergenfield, exploding for eight runs in the 6th inning.

Girls Lacrosse vs New Providence | Loss, 11-10

The Girls Lacrosse team suffered a tough Senior Night loss against New Providence on Friday. Jenna Reinhart (Sr.) had 6 goals despite the defeat.

Saturday, May 16

Boys Lacrosse vs St. Joe’s Mont. | Loss, 9-8

The Boys Lacrosse team lost a close one against St. Joe’s Mont. on Saturday. Owen Dargan (Sr.) had 3 goals and an assist for 4 points.

He has always enjoyed writing for the paper, and enjoys reading articles on football, basketball, and baseball. He has been on the Varsity Tennis Team since his freshman year. Joseph Saco is a junior at Pascack Valley who is in his second year as part of The Valley Echo. This year, he is a Sports Editor. He’s always looking for interesting sports stories to write about. He enjoyed writing for the paper last year. He is part of the Pascack Hockey Team, and in his free time, he plays the guitar, watches movies, and hangs out with friends.
