High school seniors organize blood drive

Every two seconds, someone in America needs a blood transfusion. Interested in helping these people?

Two high school seniors will be running a blood drive on Monday, September 28 after school from 3:30 to 7 p.m. It will be held at Tice Center at 411 Chestnut Ridge Road in Woodcliff Lake.

The blood drive was organized by senior Evan Tinati here at PV and Laura Bressler, a senior at Pascack Hills.

“We were looking for a way to give back in society, so we emailed someone from Community Blood Services about setting it up,” Tinati said.

Anyone interested does not have to make an appointment in advance. Walk ins, especially high school students, are welcome to come and donate.
