The Human Rights League will be hosting a showing of “13th” Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the lecture hall.

“13th” is a documentary about racial inequality in the criminal justice system in America. It was released on Netflix on Oct. 7, 2016.

The film recently won the Critics’ Choice Documentary award for best political documentary, as well as an award for best documentary in TV/streaming. Director Ava DuVernay, who also directed the award-winning film “Selma”, won best director in TV/streaming.

Admission is $5 and snacks will be available for purchase.
