The Rams would tack on another score seconds later, following a Pascack Valley fumble.

The Indians would quickly respond with a scoring drive of their own to cut into the lead.

New Canaan would score twice more before the first quarter came to a close, extending its lead to 28-7.

New Canaan’s offensive clinic continued in the second quarter, as it scored twice to lead 42-7 at halftime.

After halftime, many of the starters on both teams left the game, and neither squad scored. With the win, the Rams improved to 5-2, and PV wrapped up its regular season at 3-5.

After the game, PV coach Len Cusumano talked about his thoughts on Thursday’s game, the regular season as a whole, and what’s in store for his team as the North 1 Group 3 playoffs begin next week.
